agenic: how the merger of Objektkultur and Inway Systems gave rise to a joint brand

The story behind agenic

What happens when two established Microsoft partners combine their strengths? The answer is agenic. Performance through intelligence.

Behind the brand lies a shared vision of how companies can successfully navigate digital transformation—both today and in the future. At the same time, agenic is committed to supporting companies on their journey toward intelligent business processes and a new generation of AI-powered solutions.

Companies today don't have a technology problem

Just a few years ago, the focus was often on individual systems—ERP implementation, CRM solutions. New technology seemed to be the answer to everything.

Today, the picture is different. Companies already have powerful systems, modern platforms, and extensive data sets. The real problem is no longer the technology. The problem is how to orchestrate it.

Small and medium-sized businesses, in particular, face this challenge: ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, business intelligence, custom applications, and AI solutions are evolving rapidly. The crucial question is therefore no longer: Which technology should we use? But rather: How can we ensure that all these components work together effectively?

The real challenge lies in the interplay

This very question has been a constant in our projects for many years. Many digital transformation projects begin with a clearly defined objective: A company wants to modernize its financial processes, the sales department needs greater transparency regarding customer relationships, and the production department wants to optimize its planning processes. In practice, however, the reality often turns out to be quite different.

An ERP implementation sparks a discussion about data quality. A CRM initiative raises the question of how information can flow more effectively between sales, service, and marketing. The desire to implement artificial intelligence makes it clear that processes must first be standardized, responsibilities clarified, and data harmonized.

With every step, it becomes clearer: It is not the individual solutions that determine success. What matters is how they interact—between people, processes, data, and the various systems that form the backbone of modern companies today. That is precisely where sustainable value is created.

This is exactly where our story begins

Objektkultur and Inway Systems have grown independently over many years—with different focuses, but a shared understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem. When the two companies began working more closely together, rebranding wasn’t even on the table. The focus was on a specific question: How can we combine our expertise in a way that benefits our customers?

Where expertise complements each other in a meaningful way

The founding of the CloudFit Group laid the groundwork for providing companies with comprehensive, sustainable support throughout their entire value chain. Objektkultur contributed its experience in software development, customer operations, and modern cloud architectures. Inway Systems complemented this expertise with in-depth process knowledge related to Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP systems, financial processes, supply chains, and connected operations.

What our project work has revealed

In our day-to-day project work, it became clear: Our areas of expertise don’t just complement each other—they’re intertwined. ERP issues turned into data projects, and customer operations gave rise to requirements for artificial intelligence. Digital transformation increasingly became a cross-functional task.

Many decision-makers today no longer think in terms of individual applications. They think in terms of end-to-end business processes. They are looking for a partner who recognizes these connections and takes a holistic approach to digital transformation. This insight wasn’t the result of a strategy workshop. It emerged in the day-to-day work of the project—together with our clients.

Why CloudFit became agenic

The more intensive the collaboration became, the clearer it became that CloudFit was, above all, one thing: the beginning of a new direction. What started as an organizational merger evolved into a shared vision of modern business processes. Complementary areas of expertise gave rise to a service portfolio that provides holistic support to customers—from customer operations and software development to ERP, connected operations, and intelligent data platforms.

Over time, it became clear that this transformation needed a shared identity—a name that not only describes a group but also makes its shared direction visible. Today, this evolution has a name: agenic. Not as a break with the past, but as a logical continuation of what began with CloudFit.

What agenic stands for today

Performance through intelligence: a commitment put into practice

What truly makes a company high-performing today? This question led us to define “performance through intelligence”—as a guiding principle for our daily work.

Performance does not mean speed at any cost. Performance arises when your employees can make well-informed decisions, when changes are implemented sustainably, and when there is time left for valuable tasks. Performance is the difference between systems that merely function and solutions that truly drive companies forward.

Intelligence is more than just technology

Most companies still view “intelligence” as synonymous with artificial intelligence. That’s too narrow a view. For us, intelligence means something more fundamental: a company’s ability to understand its challenges holistically and develop sustainable solutions. Intelligence emerges where different perspectives converge—practical knowledge from client projects, industry insight, process expertise, and technological know-how. It is evident in the fact that data is not only available but is also interpreted correctly.

Artificial intelligence is an important part of this story. It can take on routine tasks, prepare decisions, and evaluate them more quickly. However, it only realizes its full potential in a context where processes are clearly structured, data is reliable, and goals are clearly defined. In other words: AI only works when the fundamentals are right.

Why we chose the name agenic

The name agenic deliberately draws on the term “agentic AI”—a new generation of artificial intelligence in which AI systems not only provide information but also independently take on tasks and actively offer support. This development will bring about lasting changes to the way companies operate in the coming years.

But for us, the name means even more: It reflects our commitment to supporting companies not only with technology, but with a holistic approach. That’s why agenic is more than just a Microsoft partner. agenic embodies a conviction: that true digital transformation happens when smart people, smart processes, and smart systems work together.

Not in isolation. But together.

What's changing—and what's staying the same

For our customers, agenic does not mark the beginning of a completely new chapter. Their points of contact will remain the same. The expertise that Objektkultur and Inway Systems have built up over many years will be preserved. Nor will our commitment to partnering with companies to support them in digitizing their work processes change.

What’s new is the perspective from which we approach these tasks. We bring together areas of expertise that have long been intertwined in many projects: Customer Operations, Connected Operations, software development, Microsoft Business Applications, data platforms, and artificial intelligence. This results in solutions that aren’t limited by system boundaries but keep the entire value chain in view.

Our goal, therefore, is not to deploy as many technologies as possible.

The key is that this enables companies to work more efficiently, make decisions faster, and grow more sustainably.

Technologies will continue to evolve. New platforms will emerge. In the coming years, artificial intelligence will transform business processes more profoundly than any technology before it. Yet our approach remains the same: Not every innovation needs to be implemented immediately. Not every process requires maximum automation. What matters is which solution is the right fit for each company and delivers long-term results.

That is exactly how we want to be measured—not by the number of systems we implement, but by the results our customers achieve with them.

agenic thus represents the consistent evolution of a shared conviction—one that began with the merger of Objektkultur and Inway Systems within the CloudFit Group and continues today under a single name. For our customers, this means one thing above all else: a partner that approaches modern business processes from a cross-system perspective and deploys technology where it can have a lasting impact.
