New prices for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system as of November 1, 2025

Microsoft has announced that it will increase the prices for its ERP solution Dynamics 365 Business Central on November 1, 2025. This is the first real price increase for Business Central in five years. This is because the price adjustment on October 1, 2024—which we reported on in our blog—explicitly excluded the ERP system for small and medium-sized businesses and affected other Microsoft solutions. Now Business Central is following suit.
The new prices at a glance
The prices for Business Central licenses and storage per license will change as follows on November 1.
Product | Price until 11/01/25 | Price after 11/01/25 | Price Increase | Additional Memory |
---|---|---|---|---|
Business Central Essentials | 70 USD / 2GB | 80 USD / 3GB | + 10 USD | + 1 GB |
Business Central Premium | 100 USD / 3GB | 110 USD / 5GB | + 10 USD | + 2 GB |
Business Central Device | 40 USD / 1GB | 45 USD / 1,5GB | + 5 USD | + 0,5 GB |
Note: The prices shown here are per user per month with annual billing.
As of today, we only know the new prices in USD. In the past, however, Microsoft has always adhered very closely to the exchange rate valid at the time when adjusting prices, which explains the often very precise prices, such as the current €93.60 for Business Central Premium per user per month with annual billing (i.e., €1,123.20 per user per year).
And since the dollar has lost just over 10% of its value against the euro since the beginning of the year, the price increase (and simultaneous price adjustment to the exchange rate) in November 2025 may be slightly lower than in the US. However, we will only know the exact euro prices when the updated price list is released, and we will share these with you as soon as possible.
First price increase for Business Central in 5 years
As already mentioned, according to Microsoft, the price increase on November 1, 2025, is the first real price increase for Dynamics 365 Business Central in over five years—even though this ERP system has undergone significant changes and developments in recent years. Consider, for example:
- all localizations and adaptations,
- the implementation of country-specific conditions,
- Improved integrations (especially Power Platform and Shopify)
- Numerous new functions in the areas of finance, analytics, supply chain, and manufacturing
- (Umsetzung der CSRD-Richtline)the introduction of functions for mapping sustainability (implementation of the CSRD directive)
- the integration of Copilot and AI
and much more.
As always with price adjustments or changes to Microsoft's pricing and licensing model, you have the option of deferring the price increase – for up to three years.
The process for doing so is quite simple. Customers who want to secure the current, more favorable terms beyond November 1, 2025, should take out a subscription or renew their existing subscription ahead of this deadline. This way, you can still secure the current prices by switching to a three-year subscription, for example, for up to three full years.
